Well, that didn’t take long.

Tim McGraw released his latest song “Humble and Kind” in late January. From the moment it was released, the song that encourages acts of kindness has taken on a life of its own. It has spawned thousands of ‘pay it forward’ good deeds, garnered its own hashtag in #stayhumbleandkind, and even moved Oprah Winfrey so much she tweeted out her support of the video.

Now the song has made its way to its intended target — those with the most genuine of hearts, encouraging them to stay that way forever.

In a recent Facebook post Tim shared from one of his fans, we can see an elementary school has taken the song and incorporated it into their spring concert. But “Humble and Kind” is more than just a song. Think of the perspectives these kids will get by learning the meaning behind the lyrics and by having this song ring out in their little bitty hearts for the rest of their lives.

So thank you Tim McGraw for giving us a song that is everything country music stands for. Thank you for bringing a message that resonates not only with these kids, but also people of all ages.
