Not anyone could get Tim McGraw to step into a tux and adorn his coolest cowboy hat on a lazy Saturday night.
But that’s exactly what this bride just did.
Celebrating her wedding reception at Cescaphe Event Group’s Vie on North Broad Street in Philadelphia, the bride and groom were shocked on the night of Aug. 27 when none other than the “Humble and Kind” country superstar walked in to serenade the bride and her father during the father-daughter dance.
In fact, a local television station reported that “the bride’s father was behind the singer’s attendance – as McGraw first appeared during the father-daughter dance.”
Tim even stuck around to delight the shocked crowd with a few more hits, including a rousing version of “Live Like You Were Dying.”
It had to be a nice escape for Tim, who will get back out on the road Sept. 4 at the Washington State Fair and on Sept. 17 in Colorado Springs. Tim has also been busy promoting his new single, “How I’ll Always Be,” which was released to radio back in July. The song is the latest from his current album, “Damn Country Music,” which has already spawned the No. 1 single “Humble & Kind” and the top five single “Top of the World.”
