Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren, are rarely home these days, but now she’s going on a trip that could change lives.
Thomas just posted a pictured on Instagram with Lauren asking for prayer as she travels to Africa. She’ll be working with the 142 Million Orphans organization, which provides “for the critical needs of children affected by the orphan crisis and those living in poverty” in Africa.
Thomas writes, “Y’all send up a prayer or 10 for their safety and guidance! They will be there for about 7 days. God bless. Love you honey!”
This isn’t Lauren’s first overseas mission trip, though. Earlier this year, she traveled to Haiti to do humanitarian work.
This latest trip comes just weeks after Thomas and Lauren had a whirlwind trip through Europe while he was playing shows as part of the C2C Music Festival. The duo were also as adorable as ever at this year’s ACM Awards.
Lauren is the inspiration for Thomas’s ACM Award-winning smash, “Die a Happy Man.”
