We are all fully aware that fall has arrived and pumpkin spice lattes are in season, but so is the actual holiday of Halloween and, by the looks of social media, it’s as big as Christmas these days. Even country’s biggest stars, like Thomas Rhett, are celebrating ghoulies and ghosties and trick-or-treating … and blaming it all on their kids.

Thomas and wife Lauren took their daughters, Willa Gray and Ada James, to the local pumpkin patch last weekend, where they selected the ultimate melon for carving a jack-o-lantern. But that wasn’t the only call to fall for the Akins family. According to T-Rhett, they also watched “Hocus Pocus”—the favorite seasonal movie starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy—“four million times.”

Of course, the day offered plenty of fun photo ops of both Willa and Ada. And while it looks like Big Sister is feeling the fun of the holiday, Ada is confused by fruit that is larger than she is. But Lauren promises, “AJ will learn to love it, we hope.”

Auntie Macy, Lauren’s sis, got in on the fun too, guiding little Willa to select the supreme spherical squash.

But Willa is an independent and strong toddler with her own ideas of perfection, so she did some shopping on her own as well.

So, is it really all about the littles on Halloween? Or is it just an excuse for the grownups to be kids again? Hmmmmm …

And, yes, we admit it. We are obsessed with Willa Gray and Ada James. But we’re also obsessed with Isaiah, Wake, Asher, Drue, Cooper … oh, let’s face it …we’re in baby love with all of these country punkins!
