Luke Bryan has always been a loving husband and father to his wife, Caroline and to his two kids, Thomas (Bo) Boyer and Tatum (Tate) Christopher. He’s put his love for them on display numerous times.
Now, the 41-year-old country crooner has done it again, this time in a recent social media post that is bound to make you smile.
As many fans already know, Luke loves to hunt and fish. So, it’s kind of a given that he would pass his love for the outdoors on to his kids. He also knows how important it is to teach his boys how to use guns safely in a proper environment.
A video posted to his Instagram page shows Luke and his 7-year-old son Tate spending time together out in an open field, presumably near their house. The “Light It Up” singer teaches his youngest child how to shoot skeet, and offers up some words of encouragement while the boy prepares to shoot down a clay pigeon.
“You’ll get it. Ready? Spread your feet a little bit,” Luke tells his son after he helps him load his rifle.
“Say pull,” Luke adds before the child takes his first shot, and takes a clay pigeon out of the sky like a true champ! After watching the shot, Luke praises Tate with a very sweet reaction.
“Tater tot is on it,” he captioned video he shared of the moment on Instagram.
Meanwhile, fans were quick to show their support for the adorable father/son moment, too.
“Wow, that’s awesome there little fella. He’s got a pretty good aim,” one fan wrote.
“This is so cute!” another follower added. “Skeet shooting is so much fun.”
A third person commented, “That’s super cool, Tate! Keep up the good work with your daddy. He’s a good instructor!”
It’s so nice to see Luke enjoying quality time with the boys, especially since his schedule is about to get jam-packed. On Feb. 16, the country crooner will hit the road for his “What Makes You Country Tour” in support of his sixth studio album of the same name. Then in March, in addition to the trek, he will also begin judging duties on the “American Idol” reboot, alongside co-stars Katy Perry and Lionel Ritchie, before incorporating a round of stadium shows into his tour.
