It was 2014 and Christina Grimmie was ecstatic. A finalist on season six of “The Voice,” she was being given the chance to become a true superstar.

Little did she know that two years later, her life would end at the hands of a deranged killer. On June 11, 2016, news broke that Christina had died from injuries sustained in a shooting during a meet and greet session after her show in Orlando.

But in 2014, she was just an energetic girl playfully showing her love for not only her “Voice” coach Adam Levine, but also for the towering Blake Shelton. The adorable moment starts at the :50 second mark.

“I love you,” she said as she hugged Adam and then quickly also gave a hug to Blake. “I love you too.”

“I just want you to know this,” Blake told her. “We are going to say really mean things to one another but I don’t want it to affect you. When we fight, its because we love you.”
