You have to almost feel bad for men who are wanting to propose to their girlfriends these days. The bar for doing something special and unique has been raised to such a level that even skywriting “Will you marry me” could be a letdown. But when hot Chase Bryant decided it was time to ask the big question, he did something a little different … by doing something he had already done.
Sounds like a riddle, right? Well, it isn’t. It’s romantic!
It also sounds like the final movement of a well orchestrated symphony.
According to “People,” Chase invited his best gal pal, Kourtney Kellar, to appear in the 2016 video for “Room to Breathe,” but he had an agenda. Since she was playing his romantic lead, the pair would have to share a kiss. His ploy worked, and they went from friends to couple after shooting the video.
So, when it came time to propose on Monday night, Chase went back to that magical moment — and the spot where that onscreen kiss happened — and recreated it for his bride-to-be.
Yes, she is his bride-to-be. In the video below, you see the hunky country star drop to one knee in the pouring rain, and then you see Kourtney bring her hand to her face and nod yes. It’s almost too precious … but we’ll still watch it again and again.
