Christmas may be over, but the season of giving is eternal. And on Dec. 26, Radio Disney released video for their incredible anthem for healing humanity, “The Human Race.”

What makes this song so special is that Radio Disney made donations to City of Hope, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Toys for Tots, Feeding America and Musicians On Call as part of the song’s launch and their own “Share the Joy” holiday campaign. But what makes it even more special for country music fans is the all-star line-up of country artists lending their voices to the project.

Recorded in Nashville, cameras were rolling as Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Kelsea Ballerini, LoCash, Mickey Guyton and Lindsay Ell laid down their parts for the song and the video. They are joined by Nashville newbies like Temecula Road, Lacy Cavalier, Kalie Shorr, Alana Springsteen, internet sensation Tegan Marie and Radio Disney star Jessie Chris.

Scotty’s rumbly baritone kicks off the song that pleads for the basic physical and emotional needs to make humanity healthy and strong. It also begs to ignore racial barriers to unite people as a common race — “The Human Race.” Appropriately, the song of love, respect and unity ends with a chorus of all of the singers.
