As country music fans, there can be a ton of misconceptions about what life is like at the homes of our favorite artists. Thanks to social media, however, fans now can get a very clear picture of the lives away from the stage for the artists who are willing to share it, and can clearly see that, in many ways, they are just like the rest of us.
Doggies miss their owners, no matter who they are.
In fact, a darling video posted by Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard — and apparently shot by his pregnant wife, Hayley— is a perfect example of that canine connection, as his pet waited for him to get home from a recent weekend out on the road, and reacted with joy when his tour bus pulled up to the house.
“My Sunday morning welcome home greeting,” Tyler wrote in the August 6 Instagram post. “It’s crazy how much I miss my fam when they’re not on the road with me. Can’t even imagine what it’ll be like when that little girl gets here.”
Indeed, these homecomings are sure to get sweeter when Tyler’s new baby girl arrives. He will be back on the road August 12, as he travels to Chicago’s Wrigley Field for the next sold-out stop on the country duo’s “Smooth Tour” alongside the Backstreet Boys, hip-hop icon Nelly and breakout country star Chris Lane.
