Kip Moore visited the home of one of his die-hard fans on Aug. 29 for the sweetest of reasons — simply to thank her for being so loyal to his music.
A FaceTime call was organized so that Kip could chat with his fan, Caitlin. But just moment into the call Kip was at the door of her home, surprising her in person. Caitlin had been told Kip was in Ireland.
“I’m about to get a FaceTime call from my manager, who’s in her house right now. But, I’m actually about to go play a concert in her house,” Kip says of his surprise plan in a video that’s posted to his Facebook page.
Once Kip appeared on his fan’s doorstep, her jaw dropped. The two then hugged before Kip serenaded her with a few songs including, “Plead the Fifth,” which will appear on his upcoming third studio album, “Slowheart.”
“I told everyone after I met you in 2016 that it would be a high I was chasing for the rest of my life,” Caitlin told Kip, after his performance. “I think I just took a hit.”
Luckily for loyal Slowhearts, Caitlin isn’t the only one who gets to meet him in person. In fact, the Georgian is planning to visit even more fans’ homes in the coming weeks.
Fans who wish to get an experience like Caitlin has can enter to win a home visit by pre-ordering the “Slowheart” enhanced album experience at kipmoore.net. They can also comment on Kip’s Facebook page using the hashtag #Slowheart for a chance to win.
“Slowheart” is available September 8.
