This country artist got his redneck on with a winter joyride Instagram/@chaserice

Nashville got a blanket of snow this week, so there were plenty of country stars posting photos and videos from their winter weather adventures. Some had snowball fights while others posted adorable pictures of their little ones all bundled up in the cold. They were mostly pretty chilled out shares of artists enjoying their snow day.

Then there’s Chase Rice.

Who needs a lake and summertime. Life on the farm.

Just check out this video he posted on Instagram showing him driving a four-wheeler out in a snow-covered pasture. At the beginning, Chase asks someone off camera, “Good to go?” He then laughs as the camera pans out to show a friend of his riding a sled attached to the ATV by a long cord. It’s the same concept as water-skiing, but with the four-wheeler powering the fun instead of a boat.

Chase had an absolute blast having a little redneck fun out in the snow. He says, “Hey, man. This beats the lake in the summer!”

Chase wasn’t the only country star going off-road in the snow this week.

Jon Pardi fired up his tractor to get out in the snow, too. He posted this video on Instagram, and a few eagle-eyed fans commented that they spotted Jon’s girlfriend, Summer, when the camera passed the rearview mirror.

Now, Jon is leaving Music City to head to Greenville, South Carolina, for his first weekend of shows with Miranda Lambert on her “Livin’ Like Hippies Tour.” That trek will keep Jon busy all the way through a March 24 date in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

As for Chase Rice, he’s currently headlining shows in support of his latest album, “Lambs & Lions,” which came out late last year.

It had been a minute since Chase had delivered new music to his fans. In that time spent creating the new album, Chase did some soul searching, which led to that interesting album title.

He tells Rare Country, “In life, there’s lambs and lions. Which one are you going to be? Honestly, you can take it a step further. If you want to be that lion, sometimes you’ve got to face those lambs within you and be a little bit vulnerable and go there. I’ve done that with my life, which worked its way into this record. Obviously, it’s important to me.”

Chase kicked off “Lambs& Lions” with the lead single, “Three Chords and The Truth.” You can check out that video here.

Another standout track from “Lambs & Lions” is the love song “Eyes on You.”
