Coming off the heels of a successful record-breaking run with her film, “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors,” which aired on NBC in late 2015, Dolly Parton and the major network have made plans to bring the country legend’s past back to life on the small screen.

This time with a movie that’s Christmas-themed.

The Smokey Mountain songbird will be the focus of a holiday sequel called “Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love’.”

And, yes. We couldn’t be more ecstatic!

“I am so happy to share this story with the viewers and to say there is so much more to tell because mine truly has been a life of many colors. I hope the viewers will fall in love all over again,” says Dolly in a press release.

During the special, the country icon and her family will be troubled by an unexpected blizzard at Christmastime, but through both highs and lows, Dolly will find her voice as a budding songstress with the help of one prominent friend.

Reuniting again on the set will be a string of the original cast members from the movie’s previous installment, including fellow country star Jennifer Nettles as Avie Lee, Ricky Schroder as Robert Lee Parton, Gerald McRaney as Rev. Jake Owens and Alyvia Alyn Lind as young Dolly Parton.

Dolly Parton will also be hitting the road in June on her first major tour in 25 years, entitled the Pure & Simple Tour. She will also be releasing a new album in August.
