Ever since the Las Vegas tragedy earlier this month, country music fans have found themselves under a cloud of mourning and despair for all those who were killed on that fateful day.

Yet, leave it to a baby and the promise of a brand new life to brighten our day.

Indeed, the country music family welcomed a brand new little one on Oct. 6, courtesy of Delta Rae’s Ian Hölljes and wife Rebecca. “We are so happy to announce the birth of our first son and the first ‘Delta Bae.’ Leo Richman Hölljes was born on Oct. 6, 2017, at 4:01 a.m. and weighed in at 7 lbs 10 oz,” Ian revealed to “Entertainment Tonight.” “He was born under a full moon at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, with many members of the Hölljes and Friedman [families] awaiting his arrival.”

The pic of the brand-new family of three was also shared on the band’s socials. “His mom, Rebecca, was a total hero throughout the pregnancy and delivery, and she is healthy and recovering well,” Ian gushed. “We love our little Leo and know he was born to live a long and happy life.”

Of course, daddy will soon need to get back on the road with Delta Rae, as the country band is currently in the midst of its “A Long And Happy Life Summer Tour” which resumes Oct. 15 in Philadelphia.

Delta Rae’s new single is titled “No Peace In Quiet,” but with a newborn in the house it’s unlikely Ian and Rebecca will be enjoying much of either anytime soon!
