On Feb. 5, it seemed as if the entire country was praying for Jamie Lynn Spears’ 8-year-old daughter Maddie. An ATV accident on Jamie Lynn and her husband, Jamie Watson’s, property landed the sweet girl in the hospital in stable yet critical condition. Many wondered if she would even make it through.

Well, look at her now.

In a Feb. 21 Instagram post, Jamie Lynn shared a video of Maddie’s first basketball practice, along with the hashtag #GodIsGood. And gosh knows He is, considering that Maddie seems to be well on her way back to a completely normal life.

Maddie can be seen in the video showing off her basketball skills alongside her teammates, and for anyone who was worried for her well-being, it looks like there is no reason to worry anymore.

“When she woke up, they said that it was obvious that she recognized them all,” a friend of Maddie’s father, Casey Aldridge, told “People” in an interview after the accident. “Everybody was crying because it was such a miracle. The doctors did a lot of tests before she woke up, and it was encouraging, but still — no one knew for sure. Everyone was really worried because they didn’t know how bad the brain injury was. They didn’t know if she was going to recognize them or if she’d ever be the same.”
