The mega-talented Ashley Monroe is on to something good with her brand new video

Miranda Lambert’s bestie sure has been busy.

And thank goodness she has, because Ashley Monroe’s new single “On To Something Good” is a good ole country summertime treasure.

The single, whose bright video was just released last week, is the first off her upcoming record, which is set for release on July 24. Produced by Justin Nieband and country legend Vince Gill, the album is one of the most anticipated on the country docket right now, with many wondering if Monroe can serve a worthy follow-up to her critically acclaimed debut album “Like a Rose” — released back in 2013.

And while the new album has yet to receive a name, the track list of new material includes intriguing song titles such as “I Buried Your Love Alive,” “The Weight of the Load” and “The Devil Don’t Want Me.”

The video for “On To Something Good,” which was written by acclaimed songwriters Barry Dean and Luke Laird, was filmed primarily in Nashville and directed by Rachel McDonald.

You might recall Monroe’s last number one hit was the wildly popular “Lonely Tonight,” which she recorded with Blake Shelton.
