Get your listening hats on – Wynonna Judd is bringing new music to the masses!

The new album, which will be released under her band name, “Wynonna & The Big Noise,” will be released on Feb. 12, 2016. More importantly, it will be the singer’s first solo full-length album in nearly 13 years. As an artist with an eclectic background, which includes seven solo albums and five as part of the mother/daughter duo, The Judds, Wynonna Judd is no stranger to taking musical risks.

The new album includes a brand new sound, featuring special guests Jason Isbell on “Things That I Lean On,” the Eagles’ Timothy B. Schmit on “I Can See Everything,” and duo Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi on two of the album’s tracks.

But the musicians who lend their talents to the finished product aren’t the only special guests. In fact, listeners will hear tracks penned by country music’s biggest up-and-comer, Chris Stapleton, as well as Schmit, Travis Meadows, David Lee Murphy and Julie Miller.

The understated, Americana sound that runs rampant on each of the album’s tracks is thanks in part to Judd’s husband Cactus Moser, who produced the project. In regards to the new sound, Judd told Rolling Stone Country, “I have a new found passion for what it is God gave me the gift to do and it’s all because of my husband. He challenged me in a way that no one has ever — he stripped me of all my gimmicks and all my ‘go-to’s’… the ways I’ve done things in the past. He said, ‘This is a new day and a new way to be,’ and I just got in the studio in front of that microphone and sang from my toenails. I let whatever came to me just fly.”

There’s no doubt that “Wynonna & The Big Noise” will be one of the must-have albums of 2016. Make sure to grab your copy on Feb. 12!
