As catchy as the song is, Carrie says that recording the song had its challenges. “Keith basically sent the song over and said he loved the song and said I could hear your voice on it and let me know what you think,” Carrie said in a recent interview. “I was like ‘when are we going to do this’ because I was in the middle of a tour, so quickly afterwards I had a day off in St. Louis, and we rented a studio and was on Skype and he was giving feedback. It all came together sort of randomly but it worked.”

Worked it definitely did!
