Sugarland and Little Big Town get their gospel on with their rendition of Madonna’s 1989 hit “Like a Prayer”

Touring together back in 2011, the duo of Sugarland and the foursome of Little Big Town were always looking for excuses to get on stage and do some collaborating. And on this particular night, the wheel of musical selections landed on Madonna’s 1989 hit “Like a Prayer”.

And the choirs sang!

These days, Little Big Town find themselves getting ready to hit the road, but without their Sugarland sidekicks, who are both individually off on their own paths. With Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles on Broadway, her duo partner Kristian Bush is making headway on a solo career with a new album and an infectious new single.

Bush’s debut solo album “Southern Gravity” will be released on April 7, much to the delight of fans eager to at least half of that distinctive Sugarland sound. His top 20 hit “Trailer Hitch” has earned the love of millions who have streamed it thus far, and the song’s inspiring lyrics inspired Bush to recently partner with Goodwill Industries International for the #GiveItAway campaign created to encourage people to donate their unused and unwanted clothing and goods.

Bush is set to play the Grand Ole Opry on March 6 before boarding a plane for a series of tour stops in Keith Urban’s old stomping grounds – Australia.
