See this country star’s bold new cut and color Twitter/@marenmorris

When we first got to know Maren Morris, she was a long-haired brunette beauty from Texas. Earlier this year, she changed up her look with a shorter, sassier haircut just before the ACM Awards. It was a fresh look for the star, but we’re learning Maren is a bit of chameleon when it comes to her hair. She likes to make bold moves, and this latest cut and color is her boldest look yet.

Maren just posted this photo showing her hair dyed light pink with extensions added to give her hair some length again. Some folks thought it might be a wig, but those dark roots don’t lie.

Her caption to reveal the new look is our favorite — “My colors are blush and bashful.” For those of you who didn’t pick up on it, that’s a reference to Shelby’s wedding colors in the classic southern film “Steel Magnolias.”

According to their comments on Twitter, Maren’s fans love her new look and the “Steel Magnolias” reference, too. They peppered her feed with comments like, “Queen of wigs and steel magnolia references!!!” and “You slay my life!”

Maren’s fiancé, Ryan Hurd, is a fan of his lady’s new look. He posted that same photo of Maren on Twitter with the caption, “Why am I not home …”

On Instagram, he said, “I can’t stop staring. You win, MM.”

Please let us know what you think of Maren’s hot new hairdo. Maren’s fellow country star, Lauren Alaina, recently went pink for a few days before going back to blonde. We’re wondering if this is the start of a trend or just a coincidence?
