Savannah Chrisley may have recently found love with professional hockey player Nic Kerdiles, but she recently turned to social media to highlight the other important man in her life — her dad, Todd Chrisley.
Earlier this week Savannah, the 20-year-old star of reality TV show “Chrisley Knows Best,” posted an adorable throwback photo on Instagram featuring her and her doting dad sliding down a giant waterslide together with giant smiles on their faces.
Savannah also praised her father for always being there for her through both the good times and the bad.
“Just sitting here reflecting on life and came across this photo,” the former pageant queen explained in her caption for the picture, in which she dons a precious pink one-piece swimsuit and child-sized water shoes. “I’ve been a daddy’s girl since I came out of the womb! Words cannot describe how much I love this man … he has been THE BEST father to us all!
“He’s been there for me when I have felt like no one else was,” she continued. “He’s saved me. He’s my best friend. I wouldn’t trade the love and laughter that we share for ANYTHING! I’m one lucky girl because I get to call this man my father. Thank you for being everything that I never knew I needed, Dad … I love you to the moon and back …❤ #yoursassy #[email protected]”
Savannah’s tribute to her father comes at a time when she seems visibly happier than ever. But, as she previously stated in her caption, her pops has been there for her during even the toughest times. Fans may recall that Savannah hit a few rough patches last year. Not only did she split from previous boyfriend, NBA player Luke Kennard, but she was also involved in a scary car collision in January of 2017 that could have cost Savannah her life.
“I literally fell to my knees,” Todd, who is also father to kids Lindsie, Kyle, Chase and Grayson, told “People” of the ugly car wreck. “The fear was so crippling at that point. And when I fell to my knees, [wife] Julie [Chrisley] got out of bed and said, ‘What’s wrong?’ I said, ‘It’s Savannah.’ Julie took the phone and got all the information. I jumped up and threw on some clothes, and I got in the car and was at the hospital by the time they got her there.”
Savannah suffered broken vertebrae, along with cuts and bruises, but fortunately has since recovered from her accident.
As for the romance department, Todd has offered up plenty of good advice on his own Instagram page on what to look for when it comes to finding the right person. You can check out one of his most recent posts below.
Luckily for Savannah, she seems to be in good hands with her beau Nic. In fact, she posted a photo of herself and the San Diego Gulls winger as a follow-up to her throwback photo with her dad.
She wrote, “And you sir @nickerdiles … you’re very attractive. Therefore, I will stare at you 😌 until you do something that makes me laugh uncontrollably haha #lovinglife #sundayfunday.”
