The Monroe, Louisiana native posted a picture on Instagram showing two men rushing to help flood victims. Sadie’s caption is a call for everyone to pray for those who have lost so much in this disaster.

She writes, “Pray for Louisiana. This flood has affected so many people’s lives already, and will continue to cause people hurt for a while now. It’s in times like these where everyone must come together and PRAY! Pray for strength to get through it, pray for comfort to those who lost everything, and pray for hope that eventually it will get better.”

Sadie is just one of the celebrities lending her voice to the cause of those affected by the floods.

“The Voice” runner-up Meghan Linsey has launched a GoFundMe account to raise money for flood victims in her hometown of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. She hopes to help those who have lost their homes by giving them gift cards to local restaurants and hardware stores. She’s also leading the charge to bring supplies directly to her hometown.
