It hasn’t been an easy road for Frankie Ballard.

He’s had to prove himself.

And that’s exactly what the Michigan native has spent his time doing for the past ten years. And with the assistance of an incredibly supportive record label and some plain good country music, Ballard is finally reaping the rewards of his hard work.

The kid with the slicked back hair is now a man celebrating his third number one single with “Young & Crazy,” which took the top spot on both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay Charts during the week of Aug. 24. This makes it a three-peat for Ballard, who had already reached the top spot with his previous number one singles “Helluva Life” and “Sunshine & Whiskey.”

“I couldn’t have asked for more out of this album or my fans. It has been so much fun playing it for you on the road these past months,” shared Ballard in a recent press release. “Thank you to all the people who make Country Radio possible. My spirit is celebrating today!”

And so are his loyal fans, who have seen him through the smoky bars and honkytonks right to the moment when his 2014 debut album “Sunshine & Whiskey” came out and spawned all of these hits.
