NASCAR starlet Danica Patrick is always a star at the Daytona 500, but it was the video she starred in back in 2012 alongside Miranda Lambert that most country music fans remember her for.

“Fastest Girl in Town” was the third single off of Lambert’s “Four the Record” album, and reached the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. But it was the friendship that blossomed after the duo made the video together that many found so intriguing.

“Miranda and I got along really well,” Patrick said in a 2012 interview about the video, which followed the storyline of her and Lambert trying to get away with all sorts of trouble. “Her and I are kindred spirits and we could be trouble together.”

It certainly looked fun, based on this behind the scenes look at the making of the video.

And while both of their active schedules keep the pair from seeing each other as much as they might like, they have hung out together on various occasions, including at the American Country Awards, which Patrick hosted alongside Trace Adkins back in 2013.
