Remember back when Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson bonded over a two-timing man in this intriguing duet? YouTube Screenshot

There are those videos that are so moving that you literally remember where you were and what you were doing when you first saw them. And for many country fans, one of those videos was for the Reba McEntire/Kelly Clarkson duet for “Because of You.”

The song originally came out in 2005, when Clarkson released it as a single off of her “Breakaway” album. Yet, it wasn’t until 2007 that the song turned into a duet and became the first single off of the Reba: Duets album. And all of a sudden, the joining of the vocal powerhouses made the song soar more than ever before.

The two are set to reunite yet again October 21 in Nashville during a special Musicians on Call event that will also include Martina McBride and Kelsea Ballerini. Musicians on Call is a nonprofit organization that brings music to the bedsides of those in various hospitals and healthcare facilities around the country.

“I’ve been very fortunate throughout my career to witness first-hand the healing power of music,” said McEntire in a recent press release. “I am honored to support Musicians on Call at this event and perform for all those coming out to celebrate what MOC has done and continue to do.”
