George Strait is still considered one of the hottest men in country music, and that sex symbol status has been with him since he first hit the country scene back in the 1980s. Women would absolutely lose their mind over Strait in his cowboy hat and pressed shirts and jeans.

According to “The New Yorker,” the ladies attending his early shows brought him so many flowers that the crew had a problem getting rid of all them while cleaning up the stage. At first, they just threw them out in a dumpster, and later they devised a way to distribute the flowers to patients at local hospitals.

Reba McEntire played several shows with Strait in those early days, and she saw the pandemonium firsthand.

She says, “The girls was gettin’ after him so bad that the club had to stack bales of hay in front of the stage.”

Reba definitely understands what those women saw in Strait. She adds, “He’s a sexy little rascal.”

During his concerts, George simply stands behind the microphone with his guitar and sings his never-ending string of hits. He’ll be serving up all 60 of his No. 1 singles over two nights, July 28 and 29, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Get your tickets here.
