This has been quite a year for reality TV personality Savannah Chrisley.

The “Chrisley Knows Best” star began 2017 by revealing the news that she had split from her boyfriend of two years, Blaire Hanks.

“All of you guys are so invested in my family and our lives and I feel like when we signed up for the show, we gave you a promise to show you our lives and to be as honest as we can about it, and that’s just what I’m trying to do now,” she said in a tearful Facebook live post reported on by “E! News.” “So, to cut to the point … Blaire and I are no longer dating. It hurts. It does, because for me he was that definition of just my first true love, and I’m trying to stay strong y’all. I hope that you will please do me a favor and don’t send negative vibes to him. He doesn’t deserve that. We are young. We had our young love. It wasn’t my fault. It wasn’t his fault. There were faults on both sides.”

But she moved on, and soon after began a relationship with basketball player Luke Kennard. Yet, they too couldn’t find a way to make it work, and the couple broke up in August after a four-month relationship.

“The last four months I’ve been dating Luke have been great, but as a young woman of faith I made the decision that with where Luke and I both are in our careers, it was best to part as friends rather than deal with the pressures of wondering if you are the only one,” she said in a statement. “I was brought up to know my worth. I’m 20 now and so excited to live my life as beautifully as God intended. I will forever love the Kennard family.”

And while both pairings looked like they might work on the outside, looks can be deceiving — a lesson that Savannah has learned firsthand this year.

“This is what it’s all about … looks fade, people,” she wrote in a Dec. 7 Instagram post alongside an image of a quote from R.M. Drake. “Let’s not be so superficial, because we deserve the REAL thing! #lovetolove #caring,” she added.

Of course, the year also held its bright spots for Savannah. Not only does she continue to be surrounded by her loving and often hilarious family, she also put her business dreams in play by releasing her own line of clothing on HSN earlier this year.

“I feel like so many people, especially my generation and younger, we let our fear consume us so much that we just don’t purse our dreams,” Savannah told “People” magazine earlier this year. “So for me, [I] let my faith be bigger than my fear of something not happening. That’s my reasoning: I’m going to let my faith I have in this project be so much bigger than the fear I have in it not working out that I’m just gonna let it succeed.”

And boyfriend or no boyfriend, this young lady is succeeding … that’s for sure.
