It’s so good to hear Randy Travis singing again in the trailer for the new film, “The Price.” Randy filmed the movie just before his debilitating stroke in 2013, so it’s kind of eerie to see him playing a dying country singer in this clip.

He plays the role of Roy Taggert, a country star who makes amends with his illegitimate son while on his death bed. That’s Randy’s wife, Mary, playing the female lead in the film, too.

The actor who plays Randy’s son is James Dupré, who you may remember as a contestant on “The Voice.”
