If we could think of two country stars that have been cut from the same cloth, it’s Blake Shelton and RaeLynn.

Well, that’s how it appears anyway!

Rare Country previously shared a 2013 image that shows the striking resemblance between RaeLynn and her former “The Voice” mentor when the blonde singer dressed up in a Halloween costume as Blake from his mullet days. You can see that image here.

The “Honey Bee” singer must’ve been pretty flattered by his protégé’s ensemble choice. So much so that he enlisted her as the opening act for his fall 2016 tour. And, perhaps now is the time to resurrect that hilarious costume again since the buddies have played their first few shows together.

“I’m trying to figure out what I can do to top that costume,” RaeLynn tells US995’s Morning Show. “I haven’t really been able to. I was a glitter monster one year, but that wasn’t really that cool. It was more like a cute monster.”

Reflecting back on the day when she chose Blake as her coach RaeLynn says, “Oh, my gosh! It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. He’s just amazing. He’s like family to me, and I can’t imagine picking anybody else. I will say, though, if I would’ve been on a season with Miley Cyrus on it I might have picked Miley.”

RaeLynn may have been a tad too early for that, as Miley is set to take a red chair as one of the new coaches for season 11 of “The Voice,” which premieres on Monday, Sept. 19. But still, RaeLynn appears to be in good hands. Since making it to the quarterfinals on Team Blake back in 2012, RaeLynn has proven that she’s got all of the ingredients it takes to become a huge superstar. Her latest single is a gut-punching ballad, entitled “Love Triangle,” that can pretty much bring any country fan to tears.

“Love Triangle” will be featured on RaeLynn’s upcoming debut album, “WildHorse,” which will be released on Dec. 2. RaeLynn will be on the road with Blake though early October.
