Maybe, on the surface, George Strait and Sam Hunt don’t look like they would have much in common. They certainly aren’t the same age, and we definitely couldn’t picture Sam in George’s Wrangler jeans.
But with just one performance, these two may be more alike than we ever thought.
Indeed, Sam’s cover of George’s “You Look So Good in Love” back in 2014 is an impressive showing for the rising star, who is set to perform at the upcoming ACM Awards in Las Vegas with fellow country stars Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Cam, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Brett Eldredge, Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Chris Young with Cassadee Pope and Florida Georgia Line. And just recently, word came down that Dolly Parton would be performing alongside pop superstar Katy Perry.
Sam’s talents continue to impress both fans and fellow artists alike, including Miss Carrie Underwood. Just last week, the two recreated their magical collaboration, “Heartbeat,” for concert audiences across the U.K. during the C2C country music festival.
