Fresh off his three-week No. 1 hit, “I’m Comin’ Over,” from his album by the same name, Chris Young has been forced to postpone three shows until January due to a strep throat diagnosis.

The singer posted a picture on Facebook showing all his goodies from a recent trip to the drug store. The haul includes two kind of pain relievers, two prescriptions and a big box of Emergen-C.

Young writes, “This is my life right now… Been trying to beat this thing so bad… I never want to disappoint you guys.”

The illness means Young will now play his three shows in Minnesota and Wisconsin Jan. 7 through Jan. 9.

In the meantime, be sure to tune in to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this Tuesday, Dec. 8, to catch Young performing “I’m Comin’ Over.”
