Reports are surfacing that country singer-songwriter Cassadee Pope and her fiancé, All Time Low drummer Rian Dawson, have split. The longtime couple announced their engagement in February.

According to Nashville Gab, a rep for Cassadee confirmed the breakup saying, “They have amicably ended their relationship, but remain friends, supportive of each others’ careers, and maintain the utmost respect for one another.”

Cassadee and Rian met when she fronted the rock band Hey Monday and before her successful run on “The Voice” in 2012. Rian has been keeping the beat for All Time Low since the band’s inception in 2003. However, with Cassadee taking a turn into country music and Rian continuing with his rock career, the couple’s careers were on different paths.

Unfortunately, the road takes its toll on relationships, and with both artists actively touring, that also means time together was harder to schedule. In April, Cassadee lamented that they had to squeeze date time in before they began their respective summer runs.

A member of CMT’s 2013 Next Women of Country class, Cassadee is only showing a couple of dates on her tour schedule this summer. However, she has been a surprise guest at several of “Think of You” duet partner Chris Young’s shows. Rian has a full summer of tour dates with All Time Low.

We wish both Cassadee and Rian all the best as they move forward during this time.
