Raising children is one of the greatest joys that you can share with your significant other.
Just ask Keith Urban and his stunning wife, Nicole Kidman.
The married couple of 10 years still gush over their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 8, and Faith Margaret, 5. According to Nicole, one favorite part about having kids is getting to see them grow up.
“It’s just discovering their little spirits and we are so lucky to have them,” she told People Magazine while at a screening for her latest film “Lion.” “We really are. They’re love children.”
Fans may be aware that the Oscar-winning actress is also mother to two older kids, Isabella Jane, 23, and Connor Cruise, 21, whom she adopted during her previous marriage with Hollywood actor Tom Cruise. It’s in the movie “Lion” that Nicole takes on the character of being an adoptive parent — something she knows plenty about.
“This movie is a love letter to my children,” said Nicole, “I can see now, for ‘Lion,’ that it was important to me because I’m a mother with adopted children.”
Despite Nicole’s heart being so full for her young ones, she also keeps a pretty big space open for Keith. In fact, she has some words of encouragement for anybody else that’s been blessed with a big family of kids and a husband.
“Just love. Just love each other, lavish each other with love,” said Nicole adding, “We just happen to like each other, too. That works.”
