As many professional accomplishments as country star Kelsea Ballerini has had in 2017, it just might be the personal ones that will live in her heart for years to come. The entire month of December has been a whirlwind of love and travel for Kelsea, who married fellow country artist Morgan Evans back on Dec. 2.
While their lavish wedding took place in Cabo San Lucas, the lovey dovey couple are now in Australia to not only enjoy and celebrate the New Year, but also to celebrate their love with Morgan’s family. While their vacation has just begun, Kelsea and Morgan have already shared a number of pics from a getaway that already has us drooling.
“Ditching winter for a few weeks,” Kelsea posted on her Instagram page on Dec. 27 alongside a pic of her in an adorable pastel bikini.
Later that same day, Kelsea reflected on her incredible year, writing, “Going through my journal for the year and reflecting before making my resolutions and dreams for next. Found this page from putting together my album and making sure it had the right heartbeat. Now having it out to the world and re-reading it makes me really proud. Thanks for loving ‘Unapologetically’ like you have. 2017 highlight for sure.”
Morgan also shared a pic on Instagram on Dec. 28, putting into words his love for Kelsea. “’You know just how to make me happy, it doesn’t take much, put me on a roller coaster and get me a bottle of wine’ … she says, minutes after we get off the 17-hour flight. Farewell jet lag. Welcome to Australia, Wifey.”
And on Dec. 28, Kelsea showed off a couple of pics of her and Morgan doing what they do best – having fun! “Kangaroos and roller coasters in the same place,” she wrote from Australia. “Best day ever.”
While New Year’s Eve is still a few days away, we can imagine that these two will get their celebration on come Dec. 31. Heck, they have a lot to celebrate.
But make no mistake – these two have much to do in 2018. In fact, Kelsea will kick off the “The Unapologetically Tour” on Feb. 8 at the Alabama Theatre in Birmingham, Alabama. The tour will include stops in New York and Seattle before closing out at the annual Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, on April 27. Supported by special guest and breakout artist Walker Hayes, rising star Bailey Bryan will also join Kelsea for a special Valentine’s Day show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
