Savannah Chrisley has been spending a lot of time at hockey games in San Diego lately, and now we know what’s at the heart of her newfound love for the game.
On Jan. 11, the “Chrisley Knows Best” star posted a heartfelt message to her new man, San Diego Gulls winger Nic Kerdiles, in celebration of his 24th birthday. The sweet message came with some gorgeous photos of the couple, along with a video of Nic helping Savannah ice skate before she ends up falling down. It’s clear these two have a lot of fun together.
Savannah writes in her birthday message to Nic, “Happy happy birthday to the kindest, funniest, loving, most selfless person @nickerdiles ☺ I hope you have the most amazing day ever!”
Unfortunately, Savannah couldn’t be there with Nic to celebrate his big day, but we know he’ll have a big smile on his face reading Savannah’s kind words.
She continues, “It’s kinda crazy how God works! After spending months of focusing on ME … you came along. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face even when we’re thousands of miles away from each other! Thank you for respecting me the way that all men should respect women … and above all else … thank you for your selfless, patient, kind, and loving heart!! You’re a good one! Oh … and that smile!!!😍”
The last video in Savannah’s Insta post shows Nic singing Maroon 5’s classic “She Will Be Loved” really loudly and a little off-key. Savannah tells Nic, “You can kill me later for that last video.”
While Nic doesn’t use quite as many words as Savannah, his affection for her comes shining through in this Insta photo he shared on Jan. 8. Savannah is covering her face in the shot as she cuddles up to Nic. He writes, “Hey … soon … I guess you’re kind of alright t… 😉😘.”
Savannah’s big revelation comes just a few days after she posted a gorgeous series of photos of herself to kick off 2018. In the caption for those shots, Savannah opened up about spending time alone after her last relationship came to an end last year.
She writes, “‘The way you speak to yourself matters.’ This year has been amazing so far and it’s just the beginning … I have found myself saying … ‘I respect myself,’ ‘I love myself” and ‘I am worthy’…. It’s been a long journey of ups and downs but I have struggled with loving myself like I should … I’ve struggled like all of you! We are together in this!! But now I find myself loving ME more than I ever have #LoveYOU.”
Those are some wise words from a very wise young woman. Congratulations on the new relationship, Savannah! We can’t wait to see more of the two of you together very soon.
