Need a date for New Year’s Eve? Looks like Luke Bryan may be available Associated Press

Don’t have any extravagant plans for New Year’s Eve this year?

Don’t despair.

Here’s your chance to get extra cozy with some country cuties.

It was recently announced that CMA Award “Entertainer of the Year” Luke Bryan will perform on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” alongside Carrie Underwood. The two join music stars such as Demi Lovato, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth on the program, which is hosted by Ryan Seacrest.

The NYE ritual has long included performances and appearances by some of country music’s biggest stars through the years, including Florida Georgia Line, Kellie Pickler, Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry and of course, Taylor Swift.

The NYE show will serve as a nice excuse to see Bryan shake his hips a bit, since he is currently not on tour. Fans will recall that Bryan last performed on the CMT “Artists of the Year” telecast, along with a rousing halftime show on Thanksgiving. The Thanksgiving performance actually marked Bryan’s participation with the Red Kettle campaign, “which provides America’s most vulnerable with food, shelter and other support throughout the year,” according to a recent press release.
