Having a baby is supposed to be one of the most beautiful times in a woman?s life but for ?Nashville? starlet Hayden Panettiere, it?s been a rough road.

The 26-year-old ?Nashville? star announced via Twitter on Thursday, May 12 that she is seeking treatment to help with her postpartum depression, something the actress has been very public about since giving birth to her daughter back in December of 2014.

Hayden first spoke out about battling postpartum depression when she appeared on “Live! with Kelly and Michael” back in September 2015. At the time, her character Juliette Barnes was suffering from it, as was she in real life. The very next month she sought treatment for herself.

?I can very much relate. It?s something a lot of women experience. When they tell you about postpartum depression you think about ?I feel negative feelings towards my child, I want to injure my, I want to hurt my child.? I?ve never, ever had those feelings,? she explained. ?Some women do. But you don?t realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on. It?s something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they?re not alone and that it does heal.?
