Move over Carrie and Luke — country duo Megan & Liz are about to shake things up Sanford Myers/Invision/AP

As the list of nominees for the 2015 Teen Choice Awards’ Choice Country Song was announced recently, there weren’t many surprises.

Luke Bryan for “Kick the Dust Up.”

Florida Georgia Line for “Sippin’ On Fire.”

Hunter Hayes for “21.”

Carrie Underwood for “Little Toy Guns.”

Even Sam Hunt didn’t surprise us all that much with his nomination for “Take Your Time.”

But, Megan & Liz for “That Ghost”? Well, there’s your surprise.

But it really shouldn’t be all that surprising, considering that this is the Teen Choice Awards. Because this new country duo are social media mavens, who between talking makeup and hairstyles, actually put out some intriguing country music such as this song called “That Ghost.”

The two fraternal twins hailing from the great state of Michigan have more than one million YouTube subscribers, and long have been sharing their music through that channel. Just last year, the two were nominated for Choice Web Star – Music at the same awards show.

With FGL looking to defend their title since they won the award last year for “This Is How We Roll,” make sure to tune in to The Teen Choice Awards on August 16 to see the two just might be able to shock us all with a win.
