Monster winter storm forces Garth Brooks to make a decision that will affect thousands of his fans Associated Press

If any country music artist wants to get out there on stage each and every night and perform in front of their fans, it’s Garth Brooks. So the decision he had to make on the morning of Jan. 21 was one that we are sure he grappled with.

“Due to the impending winter storm expected to arrive late Friday, and for the safety of all fans and all personnel involved, we are postponing the Friday, January 22nd and Saturday, January 23rd Garth Brooks shows,” a post on Garth’s various social media sites read about his upcoming tour stops in Baltimore. “All tickets for the Friday, January 22nd and Saturday, January 23rd shows will be honored for the new date and times.”

In fact, the new scheduled times will have Garth performing five shows in three days – something that fans have come to expect from the accomplished showman.

In light of the impending winter storm set to hit over the weekend, Garth himself might want to add snowsuits to his upcoming partnership and exclusive deal with Cinch Jeans & Shirts. The “Garth Brooks Sevens by CINCH” clothing line will debut later this year.
