Miranda Lambert's bff RaeLynn is about to have a very good year

Being Miranda Lambert’s bestie has its perks.

First off, you get to sing iconic Dixie Chicks songs such as “Cowboy Take Me Away” with Lambert, which country newcomer RaeLynn got to do at a recent Indiana tour stop alongside Gwen Sebastian. You also get to have matching tattoos with Lambert, which RaeLynn and Sebastian showed off after their last show on the “Certified Platinum Tour.” And you also get to make her picky playlist that she plays out on the tour bus.

But what RaeLynn is about to do next is all about her.

Still gaining momentum with her gold-certified debut single “God Made Girls,” the perky 20-year-old debuted her new single “For a Boy” on NBC’s “Today” show on March 9, with the catchy song to be released on radio March 23.

RaeLynn also embarked on a week-long bus tour March 10 to support the 30th Anniversary of National Music in our Schools Month and will stop to perform at schools in New York, Maryland, Ohio and Indiana. And this summer, the former season 2 favorite from “The Voice” will join label mates Rascal Flatts on the “Riot Tour 2015.”
