Miranda Lambert has found the “pawfect” way to mend her gal pal, Ashley Monroe’s, broken heart.

And, she’s doing it with a little bit of help from her furry friends.

Ever since her rescue dog, Rosie, went missing near Nashville on April 7, 2016, Ashley’s been crushed. She explored every way possible to track down her little fur baby, but it seems as though she had no luck in finding her.

However, with some healing time and the help of Miranda and her organization Mutt Nation, the singer has now been able to move forward by welcoming a new family friend into her home — a rescue Chihuahua named Betty Annie, and from the looks of it, they’re getting along just splendidly!

The Pistol Annie uploaded this photo to Instagram of her planting a smooch on her beloved new companion with the caption, “One angel lost, one angel rescued. Meet Betty Annie Monroe Danks.”

While we couldn’t be any happier to see Ashley smiling again, we all know that precious Rosie — who is Ashley’s miniature canine Petunia’s sister — cannot be replaced, and there’s still hope that she will return in due time. Until then, Ashley and Betty can soak in the joys of their newfound friendship.
