Miranda Lambert proves that all you need is your bestie and a little black dress to forget your troubles for the night YouTube/Screenshot

After the week Miranda Lambert has had, it’s no wonder she needed a good ole girls night out.

And that’s exactly what she had in Nashville on the night of July 22.

Just a few short days after announcing her divorce from hubby Blake Shelton, Lambert jumped on the stage to join bestie Ashley Monroe to sing her hit “Heart Like Mine,” which the two co-wrote together.

“We didn’t plan,” said Monroe, who was performing a show promoting her upcoming album “The Blade.” “I like spontaneous.”

“I only have on my Target dress,” admitted Lambert, still looking adorable after the tumultuous week.

“Your Target dress is really pretty,” responded Monroe, who also had country powerhouses Vince Gill and Little Big Town’s Phillip Sweet in the house according to an AP story.

The same story noted that Lambert “spent most of the evening singing along from the crowd, until Monroe invited her up to participate in her encore performance.”

And during a week where rumor swirled and people whispered, Lambert showed off what she does best – and that’s keeping her priorities in order.

Because sometimes, all it takes is music, besties and cute dresses from Target to make a girl feel a whole lot better.
