“Vice” may have been born from pain, anguish and regret, but it has also earned her two Grammy nominations. And when Miranda Lambert hit the stage on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to perform her current smash, “Vice,” she was looking cool, confident and a lot more happy than sad.
Miranda hasn’t made many appearance on the hit daytime talk show, so on Dec. 7, she was packing some major superstar heat.
She delivered a pristine performance of the song with her entire band rocking behind her. Smiling sweetly and dressed in a sassy, bare-shouldered black and silver jumpsuit, her long, blonde hair in loose waves, Ran ripped through her hit single that is an anthem of self-acceptance, proving exactly how she earned those two Grammy nods. As the final notes were played, a smile stretched across her face. She nailed it!
Following the performance, host Ellen Degeneres walked over to Miranda to thank her for appearing on the show and you can hear her say to the Texas songbird, “I love your voice.” Well, we do too, Ellen.
Remember, Miranda is nominated in two categories at this year’s Rare Country Awards — female artist of the year and fan moment of the year for her emotion-filled moment when a soldier’s sign caught her attention during a live concert. If you haven’t voted yet, you have until Dec. 15 to get it in at RareCountryAwards.com.
