Throughout the next three years, the group, made up of Angaleena Presley, Ashley Monroe and Miranda Lambert, would reunite for a performance here and there. But often, these performances came as quite a surprise to fans, which is exactly what happened at a Sept. 10 West Palm Beach, Florida tour stop.

The group reunited to perform their big hit “Hell on Heels,” much to the delight of fans assembled there. And the performance wasn’t the only reason those fans were extra lucky that night. Little did they know that after this particular show, Miranda would have to cancel the rest of her tour as she was put on vocal rest.

Miranda will undoubtedly stay busy during her unexpected break, and the country superstar recently announced plans to release her first album in two years, titled “The Weight Of These Wings,” on Nov. 18.

It certainly leaves us to wonder – could the Pistol Annies be making an appearance on the new album?

We guess Miranda is keeping that a surprise, but one can hope.
