Entertainers and athletes have all kinds of rituals that they practice before they perform or compete. Whether it’s a group prayer or a pair of lucky socks, they are almost as important as the actual show or game. Sometimes the stars give fans a glimpse into what those rituals are, and we get to find out that those rituals can also be darn fun!

For some time, Miranda Lambert has treated fans to one of her fun little behind-the-scenes practices—the GlamJam.

Ran and her glam squad grab a variety of beauty implements, turn up the music and belt out a popular hit song glamaoke … um … karaoke style.

It’s ba-ack!

Backstage at Elton John’s tribute concert, “Elton John: I’m Still Standing — A Grammy Salute,” Ran and the hot hair and makeup crew got their TLC on, including makeup artist Moani Lee, fashion stylist Tiffany Gifford, hair stylist Johnny Lavoy, fashion stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer, hair stylist Marwa Bashir and Maren Morris.

Wait, what?

Yes, Maren, who was also performing at the Elton John tribute, joined up with her pal and her squad, which makes it even more logical to break out a 2018 version of GlamJam.

Singing into scissors, hairspray, a lint roller, makeup brushes and a bottle of bubbly, the six glamazons whipped out the 1999 TLC classic “No Scrubs.” And an earworm is born.

We aren’t entirely sure when Miranda’s GlamJams began. They were likely happening well before someone thought to document them for social media. We do know that they have been going on for several years, though, and in those years we remember some favorites.

In 2016, Ran and the Glams did an awesome rendition of “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.”

Then in 2014, backstage at the ACM Awards, there was “Proud Mary.”

Of course, it would be hard to top a GlamJam with Patty Loveless where you cover the iconic Loretta Lynn hit, “You Ain’t Woman Enough to Take My Man.”

But, then again, we weren’t exactly expecting Miranda’s Nonny, dad and her Pink Pistol staff to create their own version of GlamJam, singing Miranda’s “We Should Be Friends.”

Miranda has a giant year of touring ahead of her in 2018, so maybe this fun tradition will be reinstated with her glam squad and perhaps even some of her tour mates. On Feb. 2, she kicks off the “Livin’ Like Hippies Tour” with Jon Pardi, so that could make for some fun karaoke. Then in July, Miranda and Little Big Town take off for “The Bandwagon Tour,” and that sets up the prime opportunity to redo this GlamJam version of “Day Drinkin’.”
