Miranda Lambert and bestie Ashley Monroe turn out a dazzling performance of a James Taylor classic YouTube

Every girl should have a friend like Ashley Monroe.

Ashley has never been far from her bestie Miranda Lambert’s side, whether professionally while performing with her as part of the Pistol Annies or personally as they dealt with Miranda’s heartbreaking divorce to Blake Shelton.

And on March 11, the two buddies blended their voices together yet again, this time all the way in London. Performing as part of the popular Country to Country Festival (C2C), Miranda and Ashley performed the James Taylor classic “You’ve Got a Friend.”

The two besties have a history of performing together. In April of 2015, the longtime friends and fellow country music stars celebrated the last night of Miranda’s Certified Platinum Tour with a countrified version of the pop hit from the ’70s. With tears forming in their eyes and their hands joined with one another, Miranda and Ashley showed off their shared vocal talents during an encore performance that stunned the crowd.

We doubt this will be the last time the two will collaborate, with many fans’ eyes set on the possibility of Miranda and Ashley stepping onstage again when she heads out on the road for her summer headlining Keeper of the Flame Tour already set to include Kip Moore and Brothers Osborne.
