Whether you know him by Granger Smith or Earl Dibbles Jr., there is the one thing for sure: the guy is a genius.

Because thanks to his alter ego, Smith just scored a mighty nice record deal in Nashville, recently signing with BBR Music Group and assuring that this is far than the last we hear from the social media sensation.

“I’ve held off for years in partnering with a record label because of my obsessive passion for writing, creating & releasing music my own way,” Smith said in a recent press release. “Because of my dedication to touring, fans have come to want and expect my music to be delivered in a very personal way, and my commitment to that won’t change. In BBR Music Group, we’ve realized a like-minded passion and a simple obligation: don’t change the foundation of what I’ve built, but simply magnify the message. It goes without saying that BBR has the firepower and for that, I’m extremely excited.”

Smith’s video “The Country Boy Song” video has garnered over 10 million views on YouTube, and his constant tour schedule has allowed him to create a loyal fandom across the country. Smith is touring continuously through the month of October in support of his current 4X4 EP release and single “Backroad Song.”
