It’s not “Dirty Dancing” karaoke, but country singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd and his best guys sure look like they had a great time celebrating his bachelor party on the high seas!
Ryan will tie the knot with Maren Morris on March 24, but first, a proper party was in order, so he headed down to Destin, Florida, before saying “I do” to his destiny.
Yeah, sorry. We couldn’t help ourselves with that one.
And it looks like these boys had the time of their lives doing manly things and trying to reel in some serious fish on their excursion. Ryan posted this really sweet group photo with an even sweeter message. (He’s the shirtless one in the middle.)
“Fished the gulf this weekend. Lucky to have so many amazing buds. Fished with Captain Allen and @100proofcharter many times over the years, this was one of my favorite trips,” he captioned the group shot. “Caught some species I’ve never seen before, drank some cool beers, got a cool new hat courtesy of Crookston Endless Eavestroughs in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Success.”
Now you know that’s a big deal for this Michigan boy.
And while the fishing aspect of the trip may not have been super successful, the fellowship part was.
“These are my friends. We are not good at fishing,” Ryan wrote.
Bless their hearts … at least they had a good time. Well, his pal Joey Hyde did at least some of the time …
“1. I caught that fish. 2. My fish was bigger than Ryan’s. 3. I violently puked the entire trip,” Joey captioned a photo gallery, with the last of his three shots unfortunately proving his No. 3.
Ahh, boys will be boys.
And soon enough, Ryan will be a married man.
We love Ryan and Maren together. We dare you to find two people so in love and committed to each other!
Fans agree, and some of the fan comments on the first photo Ryan posted of the big trip made us tear up a little.
“I am so happy for you and Maren,” one fan wrote to Ryan. “Please don’t let anyone ever ever rob you of your magic. You two are perfect. You’re what the world needs.”
Of course, leave it to Maren to point out the obvious: not her hubby-to-be’s ridiculous abs (well done, Ryan) but rather, the enormous case of Corona Lights.
“AAAAAAND @coronalightusa,” she joked, tagging the beer company, which happens to be one of her favorites as well.
Corona should totally sponsor their reception, we’re just saying. Well, if it isn’t tequila-themed, that is.
Maren recently joked to a fan during a Twitter Q&A that the wedding might very well have that theme.
She also said that her wedding dress was being designed to resemble her mother’s, and that there would be lots of succulents present for flowers.
There will also be lots of dancing and fun and love in the air. We can’t wait to see the photos … less than one month to go!
