As Luke Bryan took the stage in center field of Chicago’s iconic Wrigley Field Aug. 27, the sell-out crowd knew darn well that this was a night that they would always remember.

Especially when the tequila showed up.

Putting on a show fueled on sweat and adrenaline — and more sweat — Luke tore into all of the fan favorites, including “Country Girl (Shake It For Me,)” “Rollercoaster” and his newest, “Move.” But things really got going as opener Little Big Town came back onstage. After sharing a shot together, Luke and LBT quickly went off script by doing an impromptu rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.”

“Hey, that worked out all right!” Luke said after the performance.

Indeed, this performance was just one part of a “dream come true” for Luke. “This is a night I will never forget,” Luke told the capacity crowd. “Selling out Chicago… now you all have made it possible for me to sell out Soldier Field, United Center and Wrigley Field.”

Hours after the show, Luke was still on his adrenaline high tweeting, “That was a great night Chicago. Whew. Great night. Amazing.”

Our thoughts exactly.
