Luke Bryan knows firsthand what it’s like to put your family first over your career. That’s what he did back in 2014 when he took in his nephew Til after the boy’s father passed away unexpectedly.

Now, Luke is standing with his hunting buddy Adam LaRoche’s decision to retire from baseball to focus on his wife and kids.

As you may have heard, Adam walked away from his multi-million dollar contract with the Chicago White Sox after team management tried to limit the time his son, Drake, was visiting the team’s clubhouse and practices.

Luke certainly understands where Adam is coming from, and he showed his support by retweeting Chipper Jones’ tweet saying, “Big ups to my boy @e3laroche for standing up for his beliefs. We play a GAME! Good for u brother. #FamilyFirst.”

Luke also retweeted Adam’s tweet to the Chicago Bears’ Kyle Long thanking the football star for his support.

Adam and his family own E3 Meat Company, and you’ll often see Luke wearing a hat with that E3 logo on it. Luke and Adam are also involved in Buck Commander, along with Jason Aldean and “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson.
