The 2016 Volunteer Jam was already on track to be epic.
With country music artists such as Kid Rock, Chris Stapleton and Travis Tritt already signed on to perform and pay tribute to the legendary Charlie Daniels during the charity concert that helps raise money for his beloved Journey Home Project, the buzz surrounding the star-studded concert was already in full swing.
Yet, that buzz just got a whole lot louder.
Luke Bryan was just announced as yet another headliner for the 2016 Volunteer Jam, set to take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 30. The country superstar, best known for his hits such as “Country Girl (Shake It For Me),” “Drunk on You” and “Play It Again,” will join Charlie onstage at the legendary concert, which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year.
In addition to a performer list that keeps getting stronger by the day, this year’s Volunteer Jam will also serve as a celebration of Charlie’s 80th birthday on Oct. 28. “This year, I will celebrate two milestones, my 80th birthday and the Volunteer Jam,” Charlie said in a release announcing the star-studded event. “It’s pretty amazing that we’re both alive and kicking and still going strong. Ain’t it good to be alive and be in Tennessee!”
As if this event couldn’t get any cooler, it was also just announced that Rare Country has signed on as the 2016 Volunteer Jam official media partner. What does that mean to you? It means we will provide in-depth coverage of the event, including backstage artist interviews, performance footage and more.
Tickets are on sale now starting at $25 at all Ticketmaster locations and the Bridgestone Arena Box Office.
